2. Service Agreements & Estimates

Prior to starting any project, Hopson Construction delivers a comprehensive estimate that details the project scope, expenses, and schedule.

• – Estimates may vary due to unexpected events, extra client demands, or changes in material prices
• – A signed contract and/or deposit might be necessary prior to commencing work.

3. Terms of Payment

• – Payments are required according to the established contract.
• – A deposit might be necessary before starting the work, with later payments arranged according to project milestones.
• – Payments made after the due date might incur extra charges or result in a temporary halt of work until the payment is completed.

Hopson Construction retains the right to pursue legal action for outstanding balances.

4. Project Schedule & Delays

• – Anticipated completion timelines are given in good faith and may depend on weather conditions, supply chain interruptions, or unexpected construction obstacles.
• – Clients will be notified of any major delays.
• – Hopson Construction is not responsible for delays resulting from third-party vendors, government regulations, or changes made on the client’s side.

5. Client Responsibilities

• – Clients need to guarantee adequate access to the work site for our crew and required equipment.
• – The client must secure any necessary structural, zoning, or regulatory approvals prior to starting the project unless stated otherwise.
• – Clients must ensure the protection of valuables and uphold safety in the workspace.

6. Changes & Modifications

• – Any changes asked for after the project has started must be provided in writing and could lead to extra expenses and prolonged completion timelines.
• – Any warranties or guarantees offered by Hopson Construction will be nullified due to unauthorized changes by third parties.

7. Liability & Warranty

• – Hopson Construction offers a limited warranty on its workmanship for a designated timeframe, as detailed in the service contract.
• – The warranty excludes damages caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, or alterations performed by unauthorized individuals.
• – We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

• – Clients are allowed to terminate services prior to the scheduled start date, with a cancellation fee applicable.
• – Depending on the stage of project preparation and materials acquired, deposits could be non-refundable.
• – Hopson Construction retains the right to terminate services for failure to comply with contract terms, safety issues, or lack of payment.

9. Health and Safety Adherence

• – Hopson Construction adheres to safety regulations and best practices that are standard in the industry.
• – Clients and residents must follow safety protocols given during ongoing construction activities.
• – Entry into restricted work areas without authorization is forbidden.

10. Governing Law

These conditions are regulated by the laws of the areas of California that include Mountain House, French Camp, Manteca, Sacramento, Lodi, Ripon, Tracy, Lathrop, Modesto, & Stockton. All conflicts will be settled through mediation or legal actions in the relevant jurisdiction.
